Simply Still Life

Course dates: Jan 31st - Feb 2nd (Tuesday - Thursday)

Suitable for all levels, including beginners. On this course students will make a series of drawings and paintings from still life set ups, paying special attention to fabrics and objects with sumptuous colour, pattern, and texture. Using different drawing approaches to get to know the subject, the same processes can then be applied to paint, making clear connections between drawing and painting. You will start at least 2 paintings, and over the 2 days have time to work on them both to some kind of resolution.
