Paintings inspired by the process of Transcription
Artists throughout history have used the work of others as fresh starting points for their own work. This year each artist exhibiting has chosen a painting to explore. Through the process of investigation and stepping into the world of another painting new subjects have unfolded and challenged each painter to respond with a new visual language and focus. The resulting work is fresh, expressive and beautiful.

Liquid Line
The drawings exhibited have been inspired by natural forms explored in the studio and on visits out into the landscape. The experimental approaches that are encouraged in this course have helped to create beautiful pieces of work that demonstrate originality, investigation and a poetic response to the subject.
